HEAD OF SALES

The Head of Sales is responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy across the UK and Ireland, translating the company’s go-to-market vision into consistent pipeline growth and revenue performance. Reporting to the CRO or CEO, the role leads the frontline sales organisation and plays a central role in building a structured, scalable, and high-performing sales function.

This position supports the company’s transition from opportunistic, founder-led sales to a disciplined and repeatable growth model. The focus is not only on achieving revenue targets, but on creating a predictable sales engine built around strong execution, commercial discipline, high-quality pipeline generation, and accurate forecasting.

Working closely with marketing, delivery, finance, customer success, and leadership teams, the Head of Sales ensures sales activity aligns with operational capability, customer outcomes, and long-term growth objectives across the UKI market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing the go-to-market strategy across defined sectors, territories, and target accounts
  • Building and leading a high-performing sales team with clear accountability, targets, and KPIs
  • Driving structured pipeline generation aligned to ideal customer profiles and growth priorities
  • Improving forecast accuracy, reporting cadence, and sales visibility
    Leading complex, high-value deals with strong focus on solution positioning, pricing discipline, negotiation strategy, and commercial governance
  • Supporting customer acquisition and account expansion across managed services, cybersecurity, and regulated sectors
  • Leveraging partnerships and alliances as strategic growth drivers
    Providing ongoing market feedback to leadership on customer needs, competitor activity, objections, and market trends
  • Strengthening alignment between sales, marketing, delivery, and customer success functions to ensure commercially viable and deliverable solutions

The successful candidate will bring a highly execution-focused mindset, combining commercial strength with hands-on leadership and operational rigour. They will have strong experience within technology or managed services environments and a proven ability to build and lead disciplined sales teams while delivering predictable revenue outcomes across the UK and Ireland.

This individual will be comfortable operating within an established go-to-market framework while contributing to its ongoing refinement through market insight, customer feedback, and sales performance analysis. They will also demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership, with the ability to align teams, drive accountability, and execute effectively in complex growth environments.
